Is there a chiltons book on boat motors?

i have a 50 force and was woundering if i could order a chiltons

  2. two...seloc is one, clymers the other.

    not much difference between the two.

    They cover several years and models, so the illustrations might or might not look like your motor.  I've noticed one or two things that are just not right.

    Other hand, they're written for the do-it-yourselfer, have some good general advice and even some special tool work-arounds.

    But I highly recommend the factory shop manual, if you can get your hands on one.  Specifically for your motor, but written for a mechanic.  Assumes some prior knowlege of some stuff.
