Is there a clear liquid that naturally hardens?Where no freezing is involved?

Something that is pretty clear or unnoticeable. It can have somewhat of a white tint but nothing else. And the faster the better! Thanks!

  11. At room temperature glass is actually a liquid, not a crystal like ice.  If you look at the bottom of old window panes from say the 18th century you will see that the glass has bunched up some at the bottom due to it flowing down under the influence of gravity over 200+ years.

  12. How clear do  you want?  Shellac, varnish, or polyurethane will dry and harden.  It's not perfectly clear, though - it usually has some color to it.

    There are clear and colored plastic resins that will cure to a solid.  You have to mix them well with a catalyst to make it happen, though, and it's possible to stir in air bubbles if you're not careful.  This is the stuff that is used to make paperweights with a flower or bug or some such in it.
