Yes you can go to a coffee shop and buy the flavoring. Then it can be put into any drink not just coffee.

Deffinately. You can buy flavored syrup in all types of flavors. Regular and sugar free. You can also use them in teas and hot chocolate too. You can also get almond extract in any supermarket where they have the spices and vanilla extract. This is much stronger and difficult to work with until you know how much to use.

Most lattes are flavored with syrup that you can buy.  It comes in lots of flavors.  Or there's almond extract, much like vanilla extract.
