Is there a commuter train that goes from Baltimore to NY ?

just wonder cause I am looking into a school up there and can't move so want to know if i can rule it out

You'd spend so much time on the train, you'll be turning circles. While some commute from DC to Baltimore and so on, that long a commute will kill you, both physically and money wise. It's best that you stay in Maryland, that way you don't have to pay nonresident tuition.

Amtrak runs trains throughout the day, but the trip will take about 2.5 hours each way--not something you'd want to do each day.  I agree with Steven that such a commute isn't worth it, at least if you'd have to do it every day.
