Is there a correlation between pornography and the backlash against feminism?

Hey...I noticed we have the same name!  Cool!  Anyway...I really don't think there is a correlation there.  I mean, maybe back in the day is where it started but I think the backlash is ingrained into the young by peers...just like racism.

No.  Even if there were evidence for this correlation is not causation.   So what in actual fact is your question?

I don't think so. I haven't read any stats that suggested increased production or consumption of p**n during backlash periods. Advertising was considerably more sexual, as were movies, but that doesn't really count.

Hmm so you're suggesting people would use more p**n when they fight for traditional gender roles? So are you saying you think anti-feminists and/or the religious righters might be perv's? Hmm well there was the right-wing politician who chased after teen pages and the recent right-wing politician who frequented prostitutes and the right-winger politician who got caught with a "wide stance" in the airport restroom..you never know..there could be a correlation between illicit sexual interest and adherence to traditional gender roles.
