I thought all surrounding nations only had 200 miles inward. I was wondering if there were still conflicts over the land.

  1. I don't think so................unless i heard the teacher wrong.

  2. Yes, but they are still mulling it over, There be oil there. The problem is that the west has a heavy addition to oil. Unfortunately it took millions of years for the ecological systems to store it and while doing so locked up a lot of carbon. But with our technology we extract it and burn it putting it back into circulation. This is obviously changing the balance of things and as they say every action has an opposite and equal reaction. The earths systems and ecology will change radically to compensate, quite how and how soon is still guess work. But a lot of people still dont get that.

  3. actually Russia has laid claim to the waters under the Arctic by planting a flag in the ocean floor with a remote submarine so the battle for the oil riches under the arctic may be the next Afghanistan
