Is there a debit card for under 18s that allows me to shop on-line?

I am 15 years old and and wondering if there is a card that fits the above. (England)

  1. Check your local "big box" store, like Walmart (I don't know if they have stores in England or what's comparable).  There's a Visa debit card that you can store money on without a bank account.  I'm not sure about age requirements.  With your money on the debit card you can shop online or even access the money at ATMs.  Make sure you're aware of any fees for storage and transactions.


  2. You can apply for an under 18's card from HSBC or Halifax which allows you to shop online and pay for items in shops using your card. I have one and they're really good, plus the interest rate is quite high, meaning you get some extra cash added to your account twice a year.

  3. You can use pre-paid credit cards. The Vanilla Mastercard and Green Dot Visas seem pretty popular.


  4. you can get a prepaid visa or master card.. or open up a bank account at like bank of america and they will give you a visa debit card. prepaid cards are safer, you can get them at any check cashing payday loan place!
