Is there a demand for natural stone tiles in New York state?

Yes.  The Hudson Valley and Delaware River Valley used to be the largest producer of Bluestone tile in the US. But there is a lot of opposition to the mining of these rocks in the Hudson Valley, so most natural stone is imported now.  The demand is pretty big and seems to be growing.
