Is there a departure tax from Don Maung airport to Phuket Airpot?

I am flying on Tues from Don Maung to Phuket, is there a departure tax?

There is just one when I leave Bangkok to Canada, right? I believe it's 700 baht??

  1. The 700 Baht you refer to is the international departure tax.  I think the domestic tax is 100 baht but not to worry, they now make it part of the ticket price.  (Before it was collected in cash on departure).


  2. As of 1 Feb 07 all taxes and airport fees are now included in the price of your ticket.

  3. It is part of the ticket price-

    I saw something on the news here that the tax would be halved for about 6 months, but I am not sure when that goes into effect.
