  1. no theres no fast dial up . we have the same problem we have to wait for it to load....so good luck

  2. Hugenet.com it's a satellite internet provider and it can get high speed internet everywhere, no matter where you are

  3. Not really.

    Gotta get DSL or cable.

  4. Not really, the only thing that will help is an accelerator, lots of internet providers have those.

  5. No, the music you might be able to do if it was the only thing you were doing on the internet at the time.  Or if it was a 56KBPS or lower audio stream.

However, with YouTube videos you would be looking at about 5-10 minutes per minute of video to watch it.  Depending on your internet connection.

This is because Dial-up has a max connection speed of 56KB.  Which means you will experience speeds of 5.6kbps when downloading a file.  This is under fantastic conditions, it may be lower depending on your line condition and the speed your modem is able to decode the dial-up signals.

You really need to get ADSL and for doing those sorts of things the lowest speed you should get is 512KB.  Any slower and it will sututter.

If you live in an area where you cannot get broadband, try getting satellite.  Contact a local telephone provider for details.

  6. The only thing that could possible be fast enough that's like dial-up is ISDN and it's becoming pretty obsolete. Most ISP's don't even carry it. But it has two 64kilobit dedicated lines for up and download. So you won't be able to go faster than 64kbps but it's faster than dial-up if only a little.

  7. No. Dial up is just plain slow.
