Is there a difference between Norwegian black tie/white tie and American black tie/white tie?

I will be attending a wedding in Sweden in a couple of weeks. The couple getting married are Norwegian. There is a black tie event the evening before the wedding and the wedding itself is white tie. Also, any marriage customs I should be aware of?

  1. Norwegian formal attire is slightly different, and you might find it easier to hire from a store for the occassion.
