I always thought it was the same thing, so I was wondering why some people emphasize POSTAL money order, instead of just saying money order.......

  1. The Postal Money Orders come from the Post Office, rather than from a bank. They're generally considered to be a more reliable form of payment because they're believed to be harder to alter or forge.

Some people prefer to receive Postal Money Orders because you can cash them right there at the Post Office, instead of needing to go to a bank.
