Is there a difference between an Aloe Vera with spots and one without?

Which one is the one used for medicine?

They both have the medicine. I prefer aloe Vera, its the solid green one. It is easy to grow, and great medication to have around!

They are just different cultivars of the plant. There are many different cultivars of aloe vera, and hundreds of different aloes. The gel in all aloe vera has medicinal properites, not all are exactly the same (potency, consistency, etc.), but they all have basicly the same properties.
