Is there a difference between an indoor volley ball and and outdoor one?

What about a beach volleyball (the kind they use in the avp) and a regular one?

Well obviously you can bring any volleyball outside but the best ones are the ones that are rubbery on the outside of it!!  Like is should be slippery!  The more fabric ones like nice "Baden" balls should probably stay inside so they can keep in better shape!! :)

The difference between the two is the material and the stitching. Outdoor balls are made to stand some pretty harsh temperatures. Out door balls are usually the best choice because you can still use them on an inside court. Then when your buddies want to go to the beach or something to play you can use your ball.

it is about how durable to the elements it is and the material and stitching. like if you leave an indoor volleyball outside it warps.

The difference is in the materials they use to make the ball.  An indoor ball will almost always be more expensive cause they use authentic softened leather.  The outdoor ball usually has some synthetics because they are more durable.

There is a great difference in the two games.  The outdoor game has a smaller team of only two players, so you must have more all around skills to be successful.  A player must be able to dig up hits, pass the ball, and hit with good accuracy.  The indoor game has six players in which you play a much more specialized position.  The court is slightly bigger, but the court is full of players.  There are hitters, blockers, and defensive players (the libero).  The need for more teamwork is high, whereas in the outdoor game your team is you and your partner.  Also, playing in the sand is slower than playing indoor, and but you must cover more square footage.  The difference might be compared to playing basketball indoors and then playing basketball on a beach court, you feel the difference.  Its good to play both sports as both improve certain aspects of your game.  You could learn to be a better hitter indoor, but get quicker, stronger, and smarter playing outdoors.

Well, there is a difference between regular and beach, i just am not sure what, but I know because my parents told me when I asked if I could take a camp, they said I had to learn how to play regular first.
