Me and a friend were having a debate about Chic-fil-a being a quick service restaurant instead of fast food. I asked her what the difference was and she acted like she couldnt answer me. So what's the difference?

  1. I believe they are similar, although fast food is more used for bigger chains such as McDonalds.

  2. "Quick service" was a phrase invented by the industry which was unhappy with the negative connotation associated with the term "fast food". They were trying to downplay the fact that people associated "fast food" with "unhealthy second class food". The attempt was to shift the focus to the time it takes to get served.

  3. absolutely nothing...its just that quick sevice sounds more appealing and ppl say that fast food is unhealthy and fatty

  4. chic-fil-a is fast food, nasty.

  5. They're the same to me.
