Obviously 1 foot, however in a boat a foot can really make a difference.Very valuable space is picked up. There most likely is a different layout/inside configuration in the two.

a foot and that means alot on some boats.it could have a different layout or a full bathroom.or other different things such as lots of cubby space or seat space.

The layout may be a little different, IE fishing chairs at the front. The 25 will handle a slightly bigger motor and should be certified for 1 or 2 more people and a slightly higher weight certification.

As far as required coast gard equipment, etc, there is no difference.
