  1. HI there, when I first saw your question I thought it was a bit random. But thinking about it, my partner is funny about filling the kettle up from the hot tap, he seems to see it as unclean or un-drinkable or something. He also won't use the hot tap to brush his teeth!

I personally think that's silly as if it's OK to wash your dishes in then it's OK to drink (plus it gets boiled in the kettle anyway - yes he is a little strange bless him!)

I think he sees the cold water a fresher because it's cold, I don't really know, but I personally don't think there is any difference in cleanliness.

    Just my opinion though.

    Bright Blessings.

  2. The warm water line will be cleaner of bacteria as it has been scalded in a water heater tank but it is still mixing with the cool water and it doesnt really matter since most water has chlorine in it that kills everything.

  3. no water is water it enters the house in the same water line as for washing your hands as long as you suds them up good and rinse your hands will get the same cleanliness
