  1. Yes.  Demons are brunette whereas evil spirits are bald, but sometimes wear wigs.

  2. Yes, a demon is a Fallen Angel. An evil spirit is a spirit that once lived and is evil, of course.

  3. Demons are the Angels that were kicked out of heaven when Satan refused to worship and protect humans.

Most people when feeling a energy around them, get scared. Because they are scare, it has to be a demon.

Spirits come to us with the same emotions we have in the physical body.

When they come to us, we either ignore them or are afraid of them, they get frustrated. Just like a child, when he/she runs up to the parent for the a reason, the par4ent tells the child, not now I am busy. The walks away hurt.

Now imagine a spirit, who has been trying to get a persons attention. The person can't see them, can't hear them, ignores them or reacts with a fear. How do you think it makes a spirit feel? If they are angry or mad, we feel that energy & think, "It's evil".

The difference, a spirit will try & get our attention maybe even lurk.

A demon wants control. They will not lurk, for the posibility of being sent away. They come in & take control.

It is quite easy to learn the difference, if we set aside our fears & superstitions.

  4. In some circles yes. Personally as you know by my answers in the past. I do not believe in demons but an evil spirit can be a ghost with a bad attitude. In life there are people who are considered evil, that is because they live lives that are considered evil to the normal person. Charles Manson is one example, so when these people die and are ghosts then yes they are evil spirits because you are the same dead as you were alive.

That is my take, I know it is not the Christian answer, but i am not a Christian.

  5. Yes. Evil spirits are human, demons are not.

  6. Simply, yes.

Demons generally belong to a specific belief system or culture, as seen with the Catholic religion (Abagor, Abaddon, Belial), or the devas in India, or in any variety of cultures.  In fact, almost every culture has their own forms of demons, each of which is unique and interesting!

Malignant spirits, however, tend to be something else entirely.  They're more commonly regarded as the spirits of one who has died and is pretty hacked off about it, or just as general negative energies.  Hope this helps!

  7. Demons and evil spirits are a big subject, but if you're really interested, here's a link.

  8. Yes and no. In theory, "demons" are beings that were once divine and angelic which either turned their backs on God in rebellion or through circumstances fell from grace. The ancient belief system though states that they are simply two types of angels: Those who serve in adoration and those that serve in adversity.

"Evil" is a term that is hard to give to a spirit. It is hard to discern a spirit's belief system. For example, the angel of Death was a VERY evil and malicious spirit to the Egyptians when it took the first born of every family - but to the Jews with lambs blood on the door that it passed over, it was a spirit of justice and liberation as it was the final plague that ended their captivity.

Beyond angels, you are dealing mostly with nuetral spirits - nature. Winds, plants, etc. Like the spirit of the storm that Christ spoke to and calmed in the gosples. Or like when Jesus said, "If these people do not praise, then the rocks and stones themselves will begin to sing." Christian scripture has never denied the spirits of nature, though many Christians do.

Now, as ghosts go - which are more like echos of human intensity post-mordem - those can be, in theory, quite malicious; but it is in a vengence seeking way usually... or the darkness of their lives is powerful enough to leave a psychic echo which continues the darkest parts of their intentions after their death.

As for Demons or Malicious spirits, they are always best left alone or exorcised - best by those with VERY strong faith such as a priest.

  9. depends on where you're from

  10. It depends on your belief system.
