I was wondering if going to university and majoring in Film, would be different than going to a Film School like Vancouver Film School.

Which would be a better choice?

Thanks in advance.

  1. It depends on what you want to do and where do you want to be in future.

If you want to work in the academic department (pursue teaching film, for example) then going to a university is a better idea as all the VFS courses at this moment are diploma programs with no credit for furthur education.

If you want to go directly into the busy film business then VFS would be an asset.
