  1. between those two there isn't much of a difference they are both okTequilas (not the best) but I would prefer Sauza. It mixes very well with Margaritas =)

  2. No... most tequila mixxed drinks you can't really taste it anyway... unless you get a gut-buster bottom-shelf in the cheep plastic container, you won't likely tell much difference in the end-drink.  Its not worth spending the big $$$ on the really fancy ones, and just stay away from the cheep stuff, and you should be good with whatever you get.

  3. far margaritas, either is fine, the good stuff will run about $45 a bottle minimum. i don't drink either of those.

  4. Jose Cuervo is a great tequila - esp for mixing drinks and margaritas! =)

  5. If used with a mix the tequila flavor will be limited.  Both are decent tequilas for margaritas.  If your sipping I wouldn't choose either.  Go with Gran Centurion, Patron, Cabo Wabo or something good.

  6. cuervo is much better. Sauza is what bars use as their house tequila.

sauze makes a good drink, but jose is much much better.

  7. Not really.

In a Margarita there is no noticable taste difference. The mix you choose will affect the flavor more.

I have visited both distilleries and see no noticable difference in thier production methods. They are both colored with caramel (no oak influence on flavor), both made with 51% purchased flatland agave - the minimum to be called Tequila.

I guess I give my vote to Cuervo but only because I love thier "Tradicional" and Platina labels, although the sauza Tres Generaciones is d**n good too.

  8. I personally dont like Sauza....Jose Cuervo is MUCH better! I used Sauza ONCE and got sick...Jose Cuervo is THE WAY TO GO!

    Good Luck.

  9. Both are pretty much junk, but for margaritas or tequila sunrise, either will taste the same.  If I only had the choice of the two, I'd go Sauza blanco.
