Is there a difference in “the charge” that a cell phone gets in the car vs. plugging into a wall socket?

Or in a blackberry’s case, the PC? The charge seems much more substantial through the wall socket, but wanted another opinion. Thanks.

  1. yes, one is electricity from nuclear power which is better for batteries than the electricity from the gas your engine makes.

  2. i would presume that the car charger would charge the phone at a much slower rate because it does not have access to the kind of power you could extract from a wall socket.

  3. their the same.it make no difference.

  4. Yes. The wall socket charges a battery at a much slower rate, which is better for the battery and will make it last longer. A car charger usually charges at a very fast rate, and isn't very good for the battery. Only plug a cell phone in in the car when you absolutely have to, and it will last much much longer.

  5. Only charge your phone in the car if it is an emergency.  I charged my phone in the car all the time and after 6 months, my battery was only holding a charge for a few hours instead of a few days.  So I had to go out and buy a new battery. Now I have had this new battery for 2 years and never charged in the car and it is still working great!

Hope this helps, have a great day =D
