I bought the E6000 glue for beadwork but the health effects from the glue are alarming.. Is there a safer alternative?

  1. Are you gluing metal to metal?

This glue advice site recommends these:http://www.thistothat.com/cgi-bin/glue.c...

  2. E6000 *isn't* all that great for one's lungs but most people never read the cautions.  If you need to use it though (or any of the "Goops"), be sure to have good ventilation.

A stronger glue that also dries clear would be a 2-part epoxy glue, and depending on what materials you're gluing together a strong white glue like Wellbond or Jewel-It or Gem Tac might be suitable too.

You don't mention what types of beads you're gluing though, and how, or what the beads are made from... those things could be relevant to glue decisions as well, including any flexibility in the glue you might need.
