  4. Not as far as I'm considered. The traditional spelling is always correct. Then again..I have a traditional name with only one spelling. Laura..the others all different names.

  8. Really? I'd pronounce Aimee quite differently from Amy, but then I know how to pronounce French which is the language Aimee comes from. There is a different way of spelling my name but the pronunciation is virtually identical and I prefer the version my parents gave me.
