Is there a direct night train from Munich to Interlaken?

I need to find a scheduled night train that leaves Munich and goes directly to Interlaken. I'll be leaving Munich somewhere on the 26th of June.

If there is none, what is the best way to get there?

Many thanks.

  1. No, you will need to change 2 or 3 times.

    For that night, possibilities are:

    Munich Hbf 2039 ---> Stuttgart Hbf 2300 (ICE 990)

    Stuttgart Hbf 0019 ---> Karlsruhe Hbf 0136 (RE 19128)

    Karlsruhe Hbf 0337 ---> Basel SBB 0548 (ICE 809)

    Basel SBB 0601 ---> Interlaken Ost 0757 (ICE 955)

      Normal 2nd class fare €117.60, special offer currently available at €49.

    Munich Hbf 2103 ---> Innsbruck Hbf 2255 (CNL 389)

    Innsbruck Hbf 0241 ---> Zurich HB 0620 (EN 466)

    Zurich HB 0632 ---> Bern 0729 (IC 708)

    Bern 0804 ---> Interlaken Ost 0858 (IC 959)

    It's not a very straightforward route, and there are other combinations available on the DB timetable website, involving even longer delays in the middle of the night. The CNL and EN trains are 2nd class seating accommodation only (mainly sleepers and couchettes) and compulsory reservation.

  2. sorry no and there are only 3 trains a day

    2 change at Bern and only 1 goes straight through

  3. Try this - German Rail UK web site, it's in English
