  1. I  think that more experience = more wisdom.. but

More time on the earth DOES NOT = more experience.

I think that younger people who have gone and done and experienced a lot can be quite wise and I think that older people who have just sat, passively all their lives and done nothing of interest are often not very wise.

  2. I think so.

Learning from your own mistakes is one of the best teachers - whether you are young or old.

  3. Yes.  Growing up my mother always gave her advice, but tried not to encourage me in my decision one way or the other. She always said that "experience is the best teacher" and mom was so right.  I don't think I would have learned half as much as I have had I not experienced certain situations. So, in my opinion, experience definitely = wisdom...and I'd like to say that I am a lot wiser due to my own.

  4. It's supposed to be that way.  Unfortunately most people don't gain wisdom from their experiences but continue to do the same stupid things over and over again.
