Is there a direct regional train through the mountains from Florence to Rimini?

There is a train from Florence at 7:25 in the morning that goes to Faenza and continues on to Rimini, but it takes 4 hr 16 min to get there. There are other options to go to Faenza and change trains there, but it's much faster to go to Bologna and transfer to a train to Rimini (2 hr 30 min on the Eurostar).
