  1. I never really cared for Tony Stewart. He would open his mouth and I would just cringe. I always respected him as a driver, and knew how well he drove though. He has really been more settled down and almost pleasant on camera. The bit he did with the Make A Wish Foundation girl was priceless. I can't help but hope his first win of 2008 in the Sprint Cup races comes soon.

  2. I really didn't like Gordon for a while mainly because my brother liked him but also because he could challenge Earnhardt Sr. but now that I've grown up I realized that the drivers need the challenger or races would be boring.

Also I like Jr. and he is Gordon's teammate so I root for him and Jr. and the rest of HMS

  3. I like alot of the drivers but I used to despise J. Gordon but lately Kyle has uncrowned him as my most hated

  4. jr now he is on a winnin eam the handricks

  5. carl edwards after seeing what he did to matt kenseth during that interview but he really seems nice now a days.

  6. I started out not liking Carl Edwards but the guy is so personable and gives his winning trophy away to a sick child, you have to like this guy and I am a huge #88 fan.

    Kyle Busch............................NEVER!!...

  7. Yeah there are 2. first is Jeff Gordon...when he first started in Winston Cup I HATED him I was abig Ford guy and felt he screwed Ford to go with Hendrick. Second was Tony Stewart I always felt he complained too much...Now though as they are both so hated I find myself liking them more and more (especially Gordon) if nothing else because it really pisses people off when he wins... :)

  8. When he was at DEI, I used to really dislike Junior.  My main gripe was that I saw him everywhere I looked: selling Budweiser, Wrangler, Enterprise, and on and on.  Now that he's at Hendrick, he seems to be less visible.  That makes me think that all of that peddling he was doing wasn't necessarily his fault or his idea.

I'd like to see him win soon, because I'm sick of the pot-stirrers who are counting the number of races since he's won.  As if there aren't other drivers who've gone much longer without a win.

I'm not a member of Junior Nation, but I'll pull for him over a lot of other drivers.  :  )

EDIT:  Aw, c'mon, WG.  Not one single thing?  ; )

  9. kyle busch, and i like him now because he's WINNING!!!  ;-)

(my question is how many people will answer this way and not be joking, like i am)

seriously, robby gordon, kevin harvick, ron hornaday, and even tony stewart a little bit (especially when he would clash with my other boy, kurt).  i used to think they were just plain ol' j@ck@$$e$.  but then i awoke one day and figured out i like j@ck@$$e$, especially highly talented ones who LOVE TO RACE. their fiery personalities add much to the sport, IMNSHO. and these guys (like my boy kyle) fit that mold.

  10. Okay get ready to be slammed, Shrub takes that one...I hated the kid and as I watched him go you cannot deny he has raw talent, I hate myself, but the kid is gonna be great!

  11. Carl Edwards.  I just did not like the guy for a while nor his driving style.  But he has mellowed out and turned into a pretty talented guy.  He really has a great sense of humor too, funny guy.  He's not my favorite but if he is leading I will cheer for him.

  12. I used to really dislike Carl Edwards because I thought he was quite arrogant, but after seeing more interviews with him, he seems like a down to earth type of guy and I figured he wasn't as bad as I thought after all :D

  13. #18's #1 fan, you're lucky I saw that parenthesis, you were about to be kicked out! lol..

Here's the thing, Lynn and I have never once agreed on a single thing on this forum, until now.

Jr's become less of a corporate puppet and more of a driver again, and now I'm not nearly as sick of him as I once was.

And yeah, the counters, give it up, he's gonna win, it's gonna happen, and it's gonna happen this year, so all you're doing is adding fuel to the fire, and all of jr. nation will be able to silence you when their boy crosses that finish line first, (it's gonna happen people)

Okay, Lynn- we were both glad to hear that Terry Labonte's coming back

  14. MY OLD SCHOOL BUS DRIVER?

  15. I didn't like Tony Stewart for a long time, but over the last couple years I've been warming up to him.

I like an aggressive driver, but his aggression off the track rubbed me the wrong way for a while. He has calmed down considerably, and he is an awesome driver.

I like his passion to win, and the fact that he can drive anything with wheels on it.

  16. Robby Gordon, I used to think he was a waste of space on the racetrack and some of the c**p he pulled over the years, but when he called waltrip a piece of sh*t on the air in 2004 I started liking him a little and now root for the only  independent man out there.

  17. shrub- liked him, mad spun jr, warming up to him again

  18. I used to despise Kevin Harvick, but now I really like him.  He's a great owner and really cares about racing as a whole.  He's not just in it for the money and the fame, he's in it for the sport.  Plus he and DeLena act just like my husband and I!

  19. I really didn't like JPM last year but I see he's actually doing a pretty decent job this year and not wrecking cars at every race. I don't know that I'm pulling for him but I have a bit more respect for him this year than last year.

And Kyle Busch I've never been high on but I can't fault the entertainment value he's added to the season. Again, don't know that I'm pulling for him but I do enjoy watching him.

I've never liked Denny Hamlin and still don't. Maybe he'll do something this year to win me over.

  20. I'm sorry I never did understand these kind of questions. I like all the drivers.

  21. Bobby Labonte. I have no idea why I used to hate Bobby, but now I pull for him every week. GO #43!!!!

  22. Didnt really like Jeff Gordon but when Junior went over to Hendrick, I am warming up to him. I did however always like Jimmie and Casey.
