  1. Maybe he's not tall enough yet. You might end up with a real mess.

  2. Put a step stool beside the toilet before you get him doing this. I think he should be a little bigger before he tries it, personally. But yes, put the step stool down, and be there with him the first couple of times. My aunt and uncle found some little flushable targets that they dropped in the toilet, and told him to aim for them. I found some you can order from here: http://www.pottytrainingstuff.com/ttTarg...

It'll teach him, and be fun for him. Good luck!

  3. Put a cheerio in the pot. Tell him to aim at it.

  4. telling him that thats how daddy does it isnt working?

  5. I think you should just be patient with him. There's nothing wrong with him if he would rather be sitting down, eventually he'll start standing. I don't think you should pressure him to start standing up just yet.

  6. Spank that creature.

God, a lot of parents today care so much about the psychology that their kids will have in the future, that it affects the outcome of their child's behavior.. don't be afraid to spank that disobedient kid..

and he's 4 year old, that's pretty old to be peeing in a fetal position.

  7. You city folks have it so rough. Out here in the country, all you have to do is show him how much fun it is to stand on the back porch and pee into the yard. There's no explaining necessary.

  8. I agree with Lunar26.

It's worked with my baby cousin.

  9. i don't think there is any easy way and in general boys take longer to potty train than girls so it could just be a matter of time.

i would lead by example then ask him to try to do the same thing.

  10. maybe try the reward process....stay in there with him once or a couple of times and each time he does it, congratulate him, or let there be some sort of reward system for when he does it on his own.

  11. Looks like you've got a future liberal on your hands there pal...

  12. Drop a couple of cherios into the toilet and have him try to sink them.

  13. Why not let him sit until he is ready to stand?  He'll figure it out when he is ready.

  14. h**l yes! get one of them loo cleaners that hooks on the side and when you flush it makes the water go blue.... show ur son that if he pee's on it that it will make his pee turn blue..... worked a treat for my son

  15. Let him sit down to wee if he wants to! If us chicks had it our way, you would ALL sit down to have a waz. There would be loads less mess on the dog-deck for us to clean up!

  16. you can order these little pee targets that you put in a toilet.

Here is an example, but I am sure they different ones online elsewhere!

Good Luck with it....Or if you don't want to do that...

You could even cut out little shapes with paper towel and draw on them and see if that works!

    Have fun with it! ;o)

  17. take te tolet seaat off

if he has to p**p then ur screwed

  18. Vaseline on the toilet seat.

  19. lol

  20. Everytime he has to urinatemake sure your behind him holding him. Re-direct his aim if possible.

  21. Pee with him, show him how real men do it!

  22. throw some cheerios in the toilet and use them for target practice.  If you make it fun he will!

    Good luck.

  23. Throw some Fruit Loops in the toilet and have him aim at them while he's peeing. It will turn it in to a game. I have a daughter but a few of my friends have boys and it worked for them
