Is there a easy way to make a free website?

I wanted to use freewebs because its easy to set up, put picture in etc.

But I could never get it to show up in search engines.

Does anyone know of a easy way to make web pages and a place I can upload one for free?

Or a way to get my freewebs one on search engines. From what I read the reason it doesn't show up is its missing the code that allows sites like google, yahoo et

  3. Depends on the type of site. Blogs: use Blogspot, Squidoo etc

    Regular site: Microsoft have a pretty good 'free' site builder and it doesn't have the Ads like with YAhoo and goolge - Squidoo also lets you buiild a pretty decent site - doesn't have to be a blog

    What about your Internet provider? I know Comcast has a pretty decent web site creation tool...

    To get your site to show on search engines, make sure you use meta tags. They must be placed as tags in the head section of an HTML or XHTML document.

  8. I'm not certain of this suggestion, but I believe Geo Cities is still available through Yahoo.  It use to be a freebie, I used it once upon a time. Just a thought.
