  2. No, the european intelligence agencies don't cooperate. Basically, there are two agencies in the world, The CIA and MI6 who gather the vast, vast majority of intelligence etc. these two cooperate (see link). The other european countries such as France and Germany have much smaller agencies - for example MI6 employ 3000 more officers than their french equivalent, the DGSE.

    They may have a "united" europe, but there's still a lot of mistrust and competition. they certainly share info, the british
