  1. also before you sign up and pay a bunch of $ for a specialized program first look at doing it yourself. this method is more difficult but I feel from experience is better. Pull up a list of highschools in the cities you would like to go. Email them saying you are an american and would like to study there. Ask them if it is possible and if somethin can be arranged. You willl be suprised how many schools could be open to helping you find a host family and enroll you.

Also if you can not find anything you may have to wait for what is called a 13th year. Where after you graduate HS you go to another country for a free year. you get all the fun of HS without the hassle of trying to make the high grades as often they do not transfer to the US. Or wait for college programs. There are more college opportunities than HS. BUt they are out there.

  2. Usually, there are diffrent schools that have them. It depends on the school, because some are more carfukk than others. But yes, it is possible. Im not sure about Korea, because thats were the wars start, and schools dnt usually do that. I have a friend who went to england for a exchanche program. Think about it long and hard before you do it. My friend had the meanest family ever! And also, remember, since they have diffrent time ranges, you will be very tired in the morning and have all the engery at night!

  3. You will not be able to go to China or Korea as an unchaperoned 16 year old 10th grader.
