Is there a free dvd to ipod converter I can download?

Question

I want to get a free {WITH OUT A WATERMARK} converter that converts any DVD movie that I have to put in my ipod that way I can watch my "Blood Sport" movie at work and other favorite action movies. I have this dvdvideosoft thing that I downloaded but that only helps with youtube vids [that I know of}. If there is nothing free that you know of, can you tell me the easiest converter to use to buy?
