Is there a fuse for the marker lights on a trailer?

Usually the tow vehicle has a seperate fuse for each circuit for a trailer.

On older vehicles, sometimes owners scab together a plug and rely on the tow vehicle circuit directly. Newer vehicles have seperate fused circuits for trailer plugs (so you don't lose your vehicle lighting because of a fault on the trailer).

There's always a fuse.  Without a fuse, you would have electrical fires everywhere.
