Hi,

Triumph1, spironolactone is the generic from of the diuretic. And it comes in several brand names. I'm guessing that you or somebody else is on one of the brand name spironolactone and you want to switch.

You will see lot of web links that sell generic cheap spironolactone. IGNORE them. I would sincerely advise you to visit your local pharmacy, that employs a good reputed pharmacist, and ask them.

When my endocrinologist prescribed Aldactone (one brand of spironolactone) my WalMart pharmacist automatically filled-in the generic variety they carried. So thats your best bet - not just a WalMart pharmacist, but a pharmacist period.
