  1. Based on the results of a lawsuit, a generic form of injectable sumatriptan is due to come on the market at some time close to August of 2008, however actual distribution and sales dates are not available at this time.  The Tablet form and nasal spray are still covered by an extension of the original patent.


  2. No. But try Zomig or Maxalt. They work the same way as imitrex, but are pills. You can get them in dissolvy tabs too. Zomig really works for me, and Maxalt works for almost everyone.

  3. i know different things work for different people and i don't know what youve tried but personally i find zomig sprays help with the intial pain at least.

    edit: i prefer the sprays over the pills so at least i don't throw them up. everyone's migranes are different so all you can really do is try what people suggest and see what works for you.
