  1. Current science has moved away from the direct evolution  and links between the species stated in your question. In fact, most humanoids through "evolution" were not directly related to us either. Years ago, it was thought ... ape ... neo ... early man ... human (basically at least) ... now there is evidence to suggest that different humanoids evolved independantly of each other.
