Is there a german equivalent of information if you are trying to find someone's phone#?

i lost track of a good friend of mine in germany. i have her last known address, her name and the last telephone number i had for her..is it possible to track her down? can i do it via the net?

if you know the last name. u wont have any problems finding them, as long as they are listed in the phone book. good luck

Despite my hatred for the German Telekom I still mostly go to www.telefonbuch.de - I am still thinking they have the most complete information there. And the least ads.
