I would like to experiment with forex, however due to my current location on this rock, I can only use web based, non-java applications. This is due to firewall limitations and can not be overcome. Is such a web-based system available?

  1. If you are interested in a top notch forex site, read this review

    http://www.projectpaydaymentor.com/2008/...

It is becoming the #1 forex site on the internet reapidly

  2. you can try this site. no need for any software to trade forex.  you only need an internet connection and for a minimum deposit of $100 you can immediately start trading by simply logging in.  besides you will be provided a personal Account Service Manager to walk you through their system and who will even trade with you until you become  familiar and will then be able to trade on your own.  this site is one of the leaders in forex trading and so you can be sure of its legitimacy and reliability.

  3. I personally use Forex Tracer for most of my forex trades. It integrates seamlessly with Metatrader 4 and gives reliable alerts on profitable spreads.

  4. I don't think there is, sorry. Try connecting to the router (Google the model number and you'll get the IP if you don't already know it) and forward port 443 so you can use MetaTrader4. Also make sure it's allowed with the built-in Windows Firewall.

Once you get that working you should be free to experiment; if you decide to get serious you should check out a trading system though.

What you do (and what I did) is make sure the trading system has a 60 day money back guarantee first; then make sure you can use a demo account. A demo account let's you play the trading game with "play money" so you can see if you can profit from the trading system without investing your real cash.

Use the demo account for 59 days and if you see you can make profit you keep the system and invest your real cash. If there's no profit to be made you get a refund and try another system; there's literally no risk when buying one.

    Best of luck!
