  1. We are based in Great Britain and have subscription's to the following magazines:

    Bloodhorse

    Thoroughbred Times

    Pacemaker

    Thoroughbred Owner/Breeder

    Trainer

The Racing Post is not a magazine, but is a daily newspaper.

You can also get email subscriptions to two daily newsletters:

    Throughbred Daily News (American)

    European Bloodstock News (GB)

Try Googling the above and you should get more details.

  2. BloodHorse and Thoroughbred Times are both good.

But if you are looking for a handicapping magazine, The Horseplayer is really the only one specifically for that, as the above 2 are mostly for industry people like breeders, trainers, owners, and the like.

They're both good publications, and can certainly be useful for handicappers, but Horseplayed is strictly a magazine about handicapping.

Both Bloodhorse and ThoroughbredTimes are weekly, And I think Horseplayer is bi-monthly
