  1. Call Planned Parenthood or any other family planning clinics, they should have a lot of info for you.

Also check out Amazon.com, I bet they have a large selection of books.

  2. Look books can only do so much, and u already had the talk that's great but what I found that works for my boys yes 4 boys, is keep talking even if they don't want to hear it . Don't push yourself into their personal life but let them know that you been their yourself at one point and she may open up to u. And don't lecture that doesn't help kids just shut down completely. Stay open and answer any questions they may have nice and simple .

  3. Yup. The Bible. =D

Also, Joshua Harris's book, "I Kissed Dating Good-Bye."

Both should be in schools. (Of course, then Planned Parenthood would go out of business.)

  4. Why do you want her to read about s*x? Is this a way of coping out of explaining it to her yourself? Are you wanting her to read books on abstinence? Or what? Tell us what you're looking for and we can give you more options.

I like the book, "I Kissed Dating Goodbye". I read it at 14 and didn't want to date until I was 17. There are also books on how you can talk to your kids about s*x. There is a chapter for each age/gender. Go to Barnes and Noble or Lifeway Christian Store (where I used to work and saw SEVERAL teenage "s*x" books) and ask an associate for help.

  5. Look on Amazon.  If she has access to the internet there are tons of teen sites that will tell her everything she could need to know.

  6. I do not know of any in particular.

Why don't you Google the question.  I'm sure there will be thousands of books available.  You could read excerpts to get a good idea of one that would benefit your daughter.

  7. It's Perfectly Normal by Robie Harris

The Care and Keeping of You by American Girl

Depending on how old your daughter is, the American Girl book is really interesting.  It is aimed more towards pre-teens though.
