Is there a good chain of gyms in Sydney and what are the current rates?

Info requested as I am moving to Sydney soon and would like to gather as much info as possible. Thank You to all for your great Input.

Fitness first is probably the most prolific 'chain' gym - they are all over the place, some have pools as well.  Look at their website, it gives you loads of info about where they are, timetables etc.  DON'T pay a joining fee, as if you say you won't pay it, they'll waive it.  I pay $29.95 a fortnight, and this lets me access any gym in Sydney except Bondi Platinum (there's two at Bondi) - and one in the city (which I wouldn't use anyway!) - so it's not badly priced.
