Is there a good chance i'll take my dads tall genes?

my mom is 5'1, and i'm 5'2 i think, i'm up to my dads lower shoulders so he's like 6'2 or something... if i dont take his genes, then will i get a growth spurt?!? i feel like i havent had one in forever T_T (all my friends are taller than me) p.s i'm 14

  1. I'm guessing your female?

    Your growth spurt is pretty much over, you won't be 6'.


  2. It depends. You will probably grow a couple of inches more, and you will probably be an average height.

  3. Girls usually grow another 1-2 inches after they start their periods, and that growth usually happens during the next year or so.  If you've had your period for a couple years already, then chances are you're about as tall as you're gonna get.  But if you haven't started yet, or have just recently, you can probably count on another inch or two.  =]

  4. Dont Worry, U Will Grow 3-4 Inches More.

  5. I've heard two things.....

    1) As a woman you take after your father's mother (as a man, you take after your mothers father)

    2) Add your parents heights together, divide by two, subtract two if you are female and add two if you are male (that would make it so you would finish growing at around 5'6").
