  1. benefiber is made out of wheat dextrin, but it says it doesn't contain gluten so that may work

  2. Eat other beans and legumes, they are packed full of fiber and protein. You don't need fiber supplements if you just eat a few key things every day. Two cups of beans are more than half of your day's worth of fiber (25 grams if you are a woman, assuming).

Eat lots of leafy green vegetables and plenty of other fruits and vegetables as well. A serving of any vegetable guarantees from 2 to 4 grams of fiber.

Eat quinoa, buckwheat and other gluten-free whole grains. They pack in 3-6 grams of fiber per serving too.

If you eat a balanced diet (which includes whole grains, fruits and vegetables) you will not need to supplement your fiber intake.

I eat a diet heavy in plant foods (being vegan!) and I eat more than 50 grams of fiber a day. If I were to take fiber supplements on top of it, I'd probably never leave the bathroom ;)

  3. Never mind the supplements; as Maggie said, just eat lots of fruits, vegetables, beans, grains, and nuts.  There are gluten-free grains out there.
