Is there a good fuel additive to add to my motorcycle?

I have a 3.3 gallon tank on my '07 sportster. I use premium gasoline but was wondering if there were any good additives out there for motorcycles. My dad swears by Marvel Mystery Oil but I like to know my options. Also most additives are measured by the bottle for a cars gas tank. Usually like 16 gallons or something. How much should I put in my bike?

Seafoam will clean the carbs, MMO will lube the upper cylinders, great stuff both.  On the Seafoam, an ounce per gallon, the MMO is two capfuls per full tank

Listen to your father, he has wisdom born of age. He knows what many of have learned about Marvel Mystery Oil (MMO). About an ounce per gallon.

In my opinion, most fuel additives out there are basically placebos. But not all. Marvel mystery oil is a good product that works well as stated on the label. Techron & seafoam are great at keeping the fuel system, valves & combustion areas clean.

If your motorcycle is running fine, then don't put any additives in there.

If you've got "wet gas" then just about any "carb cleaner gas additive" will work.  I buy at the local 99 cent store.  I think most of them are mostly methanol anyway.  I pour a third of the little bottle into my full tank, but -- only when I need it, or about twice a year.

you shouldnt really need anything at all.... ive been driving my 2000 sportster which has 70,000 plus miles and ive yet to need any

Run a tank of Chevron gas through every once in a while. Techron is about ten dollars a bottle, way more than you need.

Depends on what you want it to do but I been using a little sea foam from time to time. Good stuff.

Think about your question. Do you think that the auto/bike industry would turn away from a product that would make their products run better? NO! Consumers would flock to them for such a product. Supplements are nothing more than new age snake oil products that do nothing more than shrink your wallet.
