I am a college student that is just looking for a great school in kansas. I would like a little better discipline in my life, and a good knowledge of self defense and great exercise. I live around the Kansas City area, so anything very close to that would be great. Also, nothing too expensive, I am a college student, which means im pretty poor :P

  1. Try "American Jujitsu" at http://crawfordsmma.com/ This is "Steve Crawford's" system/style/art.  Steve Crawford is a renoun teacher and has single handedly made MMA in the midwest what it is today.  His schools teach a variety of styles that I haven't mentioned here as well.  There are many organizations that owe their existence to Crawford's people.  His original dojo is located in Overland Park, Ks., but "American Jujitsu" has schools located through out the U.S.  I've studied a lot of various art forms over my short 37 years of existence and one of the best "down to earth and practicle" systems I think I've ever seen is Crawford's "American Jujitsu" which I ordered on DVD and previewed some 5 or 6 years ago.  Good luck dude.
