Is there a good novel that its story includes parents with a little girl?

Well bastically the books that i can think of are the books about child abuse. The authers were abused by people who cared for them when they were little (I am not being horrible). They are all in book shop these days.

Parents with a little girl?  In a novel?  You mean a story about a family with a child?  I can't imagine there was ever a novel of any substance written dealing with family issues where one child was a little girl.  That sounds too far fetched, among the thousands and thousands of high quality novels that have been written that someone would have characters who are parents with a young girl.  Impossible!
