Question:

Is there a good online petition system?

I would like to create an on-line petition, and I need a good system that reads signer's IP, so one can only sign once. I really want this petition to be fair, so I don't trust systems that count signers reading only their e-mail addresses. There are millions of fictional addresses. Do you know any site that provides this kind of petition? Thank you.

  1. if you are in the UK there is petition set up on the government webiste. it then goes stright to mr brown.

  2. The Prime Minister's petition system is fair because you have to have a valid email address, they send you an email to confirm it before your signature is accepted on the petition.

It's closed at the moment till early September though because of the summer holiday.
