Golden Corral or any all you can eat buffets are just nasty.  First of all if you watch people will be serving themselves and will sneeze or cough and cover their mouth and then use that hand to use the spoon to get food, then there is the people that cough or sneeze and don't cover there mouth and spray all the foods.  Then there is kids going and getting food and putting it back, touching it with their hands and putting it back, the employees go and clean up the spilled food and put it back in the dish.  Nasty!  No I didn't eat there, i did go with a group and only got a glass of Tea and had the manager take it back because my glass has lipstick on it. I watch all the things people do while going thru the line.

Golden Corral doesn't really have wait staff, so if you set your service expectation lower you won't be disappointed ^^

As far as the food goes, you can't really sell a cut of beef that cheap and have it be tender, moist and succulent. I'd bet you $1 that their meat comes from old cattle that are too old to do anything but expire from old age.

Aside from that, I think their buffet stuff is alright. Not everything there is great, but if you have at least a semi-normal appetite you can get enough variety and still find yourself full.

I'm sorry you went to Golden Corral. I live in Norman and used to frequent this place often Until the rudeness of the manager and  Her 2 daughters and son in-law that all work their finally drove me,family and friends away. the now owner/General manager does not care about the c**p that goes on in that store as long as he gets your money why should he..nor does golden corral the name on the building care.. the things iv seen and heard while eating there well I don't see how they keep their doors open. well besides the nasty food,bad management bad employees and bad service they have a very poor food service report with the Oklahoma Food Service Establishment Inspections web site ( https://www.phin.state.ok.us/Inspections... ) with 42 violations in just a few months some violations are critical violations =those food handling practices that, when not done properly, are most likely to lead to food borne illnesses. well you get the point I wouldn't let my dog eat their>>>
