  1. This website has some neat ideas for preschool art

    http://www.everythingpreschool.com/theme...

  2. You could probably look on the internet. Look under different sports for art/craft ideas around them.

I don't know how old the children are but they could have a mini olympics in the childcare centre. They can do things like cycling - riding trikes, athletics - running, walking, jumping etc, rythmic gymnastics - using streamers, and stuff, gymnastics - do things like hand stands, rolls, etc.

Another good thing would be to have paper clippings of different athletes on the walls.

You could also have an opening ceromony.

  3. The center I work at is doing the olympic theme for summer. Each week we talk about a country/make their flag/find it on a map/and then eat a food from that country.

  4. Try checking out hubbardscupboard.org.  There you will find Nursery Rhyme Olympics.  The preschool age kids will love it!

  5. I would google it under Olympics for preschoolers.
