Is there a good ski resort near Edmonton?

There is a hill in Edmonton i think, but it would be best to travel to the Banff area, or Jasper. The best skiing is in the mountains! My personal opinion is to take the travel time, it will be worth it, unless you go now, because it summer.... : )

Now this time of year it is tough to find snow except the mountian tops, but near Edmonton the closest place in in Jasper, a 2 1/2 hour trip west, I worked in Edmonton back in the 1980's at various places as a chef, and travelled there to Jasper once.
